For over 100 years, the Jochemich family has run Wasserburg Anstel – now in its fourth generation. In the carefully renovated stable buildings of the listed estate and in neighboring buildings, we rent out holiday apartments and furnished apartments: peacefully situated between fields and an equestrian center, yet only 20 minutes from the Düsseldorf Trade Fair and the Cologne Trade Fair Center.

The perfect accommodation for every stay
Our holiday apartments are located directly in the courtyard of the Wasserburg Anstel (Wasserburgstraße 30), with further accommodation just a few steps away at Wasserburgstraße 24 and 26 – plus furnished rooms on Finkenstraße in Dormagen. From a quiet single room for one night to an apartment with a terrace for several months: couples, trade fair visitors, contractors and families all find the right size, location and price range. We handle every booking personally – direct, with no portal fees.
Centrally located between Cologne and Düsseldorf
The Düsseldorf trade fair grounds and the Cologne trade fair center are each about 20 minutes away, and the A57 and A46 motorways are just a few minutes away. Neuss, Dormagen, and Grevenbroich are right next door – and yet, beyond the gate of the farmyard, open fields begin.

Location & surroundings: quiet, green setting, in the heart of the Rhineland
Wasserburg Anstel sits on the edge of Rommerskirchen in the Rhein-Kreis Neuss district – surrounded by fields, an equestrian yard and old trees. Despite the rural quiet, the Düsseldorf and Cologne exhibition centres are each about 20 minutes away; Cologne, Düsseldorf and Neuss are easy to reach via the A57 and A46.
In the surrounding area: Knechtsteden Monastery (10 min.), the Rhine and Zons rivers (15 min.), a fishing pond right next to the house, and cycling and riding trails starting directly from the farm. Shops, bakeries, and restaurants can be found in Rommerskirchen and Nettesheim, just a few minutes away. Free parking is available on the farm.
